Now, the behaviour-meme seems to have flitted to the tenements of Italy, as the country undergoes a different lockdown - as part of measures to establish “social distancing” against the coronavirus. There’s everything from accordion bands to pots and pans here.

Above and below are some clips taken by news organisations and citizens on social media. In terms of “creating a feel” for hard-pressed communities - a way for them to stick together, while having to be socially and physically isolated - it’s just about a perfect tactic.
