Citizens of South Devon & Plymouth Rise To Meet Climate Crisis
The latest reports on the climate crisis are worrying and challenging. What can communities do to seize a better future? The latest in the Alternative UK’s series of “collaboratories” with Plymouth and South Devon invites you to answer this question with your fellow citizens.
This Saturday on 13th October, 10.30-17.00, in Devonport Guildhall - tickets here (pay what you can), Facebook here - we’re doing an “Inquiry” into what a better future could be for this part of the world.
Saving our burning planet, using robots to stop us being robots, identifying what really matters to our lives… What shall we explore? We hope to kick off a “citizens network” that can help Plymouth and South Devonites take back control of their future.
This area has all the solutions. Communities that experiment with ways of living more healthily on this planet. So many people-friendly enterprises and initiatives. A city that naturally thinks of new worlds across oceans. Come to the Devonport Guildhall this Saturday (which is also a Social Saturday, and has lunch included) - and let’s inquire further, together!
