CONTEXT:
On March 1st 2023, The Alternative Global celebrates its 6th birthday! Until now, most of the readers of our newsletter have read our weekly blogs, taking our insights - we hope - into your own daily sphere of action. More than 700 of you have joined our co-creators group with offers of time and skills - but it has been difficult to integrate that energy on the platform till now.
To mark this day and signal our move into Year 7, we have opened up four new incubators (see panels above) for direct involvement on Planet A - the future arising underneath our feet.
Each incubator has at least two elements -the conversation and the building. Through conversation - unlearning, desire, insight, challenge - we can create the context for genuinely new action to be taken. Anything less can only be a reaction to the past.
Through building we can 'make real' our vision of the future, on the ground, with others. Incubators are not the arena for talking in a vacuum. Both conversation and building are fully invested in making possible futures, highly probable.
