“Be prolific in small, free, creative acts”. Seed-forms give Bridget McKenzie inspiration for regenerative ways of life and work

This image from futurist and green cultural activist Bridget McKenzie seized our minds with its apposite loveliness this week. Bridget explains the context below:

I made this poster for two purposes, at least. One is personal, as part of the Creativity for Life practice group I’m part of. We explore regenerative concepts using creative tools and the Cards for Life created by Tom Mansfield.

The other is professional, as I’m developing training materials for cultural workers on Regenerative Culture for my organisation Climate Museum UK.

These workers need support with their own wellbeing as they face truths about the Earth crisis, and try to transform the Culture sector to focus on transition and resilience rather than reducing the harm of 'business as usual'.

I use a lot of visuals and handling objects in my workshops and training, to draw out more metaphorical and imaginative thinking while also making matters more concrete and science-informed. More about my practice here.
