An online school for social justice - with video courses that teach you how to persist, insist and resist
The social entrepreneur Alvin Carpio - who worked with the WEF on his Fourth Group project - has now created a new, online educational venue - The School of Social Justice. As Alvin explains in his tweet below:
From their about page:
Learn from people who have changed the world.
We share the lessons and experiences of campaigners, innovators, pioneers, activists, and leaders, so that you can go on and address the major problems of our time, and help make society fairer.
Our mission is to teach 10,000 people how to impact the lives of 100,000 people each, so that 1 billion people’s lives are improved.
We strive to create a world where people can learn the skills, tools, strategies, and tactics that have changed the world, so that anyone can make a difference.
Their curriculum of interviews is rich - and we see an old friend at the top of them:

More here. We’ll be watching to see how this develops - there’s a lot of activity in creating alternative but substantive platforms of a/v content (exemplified by Jim Garrison’s Ubiquity University, or Waterbear, or Means TV.). And keep a watch on our own explorations into an Alternative Media System.
