Enjoy our recorded Zoom talk with Immy Kaur, civic dynamo, in our "The Elephant Meets..." series

We’re delighted to bring you the edited highlights of the recent Zoom talk (in our The Elephant Meets… series) with civic transformer Immy Kaur, founder of Civic Square and formerly director of the Birmingham Impact Hub, Tuesday, August 3rd 2020, 5:00-6.30pm.

The discussion explored Immy’s fascinating history, as someone who (from her strong Sikh family background, to the radical place-making she conducts with Civic Square) has always been concerned to strengthen communities and neighbourhoods. And also to presume that experts and citizens can speak to each other much more readily than is assumed, if the establishing of relationship is their primary concern.

If you’re interested in the emotional and inner, as well as the strategic and outer demands of transforming our localities, in a global context, then you’ll enjoy this interview and wider conversation with Immy.

Many thanks to our A/UK colleague Maria Dorthea Skov for editing and producing the video.
