WHAT IS A "POLITICAL LABORATORY"?

A laboratory is a space equipped for experiment.

In our political laboratories, we will be bringing together people from the three realms of self, community and globe (or I, We, World)  to see what happens when we begin to integrate them.

Our spaces will be friendly and facilitated for serious play (for example, see this game: Mock Cabinets). These labs can take place anywhere in the UK or, indeed, anywhere in the world. Participants will be drawn from the existing local networks – everyday citizens, interested in a better response to our shared problems.

Once we have taken time to get into each others’s shoes, see the world through each others’ eyes, we start to play politics.
